Raleigh PBV to receive the 2009 Caleb Bradham Platinum Award
In September, 2009 at the National Bottlers' Meeting in Los Angeles, Indra Nooyi, Chairman of PepsiCo and Mamoud Kahn, PepsiCo's Chief Scientist will recognize Tom Wiza, Plant Manager, and Mark Tesch, QC Manager, as well as the entire team from Pepsi Bottling Venture’s Raleigh plant as the winner of the 2009 Caleb Bradham Platinum Award.
The Platinum award is given to the top production facility in the North American Pepsi system in recognition of outstanding product quality. The 2009 award period covers the 16 month period from January 2008 through April 2009. In order to be eligible for the award, a plant must have the highest product quality score as well as qualify for the Caleb Bradham Prism Award and the Caleb Bradham President's Award during the award period and reduce their overall consumer complaint rate.
