Our Commitment to DEIB with our Belonging Council
We are thrilled to announce a significant step forward in our commitment to fostering a workplace culture that celebrates diversity and prioritizes inclusion. We are excited to introduce our newly established Belonging Council.
Here, at Pepsi Bottling Ventures (PBV), we recognize that embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment is not just a goal but a fundamental value that drives our success. The Belonging Council embodies this commitment, aiming to create an environment where every member PBV employee feels respected, valued, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
The formation of the Belonging Council marks the beginning of an exciting journey towards building a workplace that is not only high-performing but also rewarding and inclusive for all. Led by passionate individuals from across our organization, the council will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at every level.
Our 3 Key Objectives:
1. Promoting Education and Awareness: The Belonging Council will prioritize initiatives aimed at educating our workforce on the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and foster greater understanding and empathy across our organization.
2. Effective Communication: We understand the importance of open communication in building an inclusive culture. The Belonging Council aims to effectively communicate to all members of the organization and empower them to feel heard and valued.
3. Reviewing and Updating Policies: Our commitment to diversity and inclusion extends to our policies and practices. The Belonging Council will work on reviewing existing policies and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that our workplace practices align with our DEIB goals.
We are excited about the positive change ahead. The creation of the Belonging Council with individuals that are representative of our employee population is the first step to drive positive change within our organization.
